Summary: Demide and Ko'mied are 4th year Provisionals, and a chance meeting in the practice studio introduces them to the possibility of incredible things. 

A/N: The Ma'mon are just my favorite thing in The Nothing Children. The concept is a creation entirely of TNC, though the characters of Ko'mied and Demide both have foundations elsewhere in the former COLOR Universe canon. This flashback was something I needed to write, just to satisfy my own curiosity about how they met and how to describe their individual talents outside of Silios' perspective. I'm still trying to figure out whether I want to include a few different flashbacks like this (in 3rd person) within the story. 

Anyway, enjoy if you wish!

( Unbelievably, Ko’mied obeyed. He didn’t even question it; it was simply like, in that moment, both of them knew what needed to be done. What needed to be done was whatever Sayan said. )

The Nothing Children



Author's Notes: The story's trekking (twerking) along nicely at this point. Better than I'd been prepared for, actually. I got rather pessimistic about this lovely little universe for a bit, but I'm trying to turn that around. My only worry is that the world seems too convoluted or too dense with fact and not enough action. Those may be my misgivings only, but if you have any concerns please let me know. I want this story to be great and I've already tweaked and reforged so much that it only seems natural for me to keep doing so. So yes, let me know please!

Introducing my beloved Demit'che in this chapter. ;) I have a thing for jackasses, but I promise you he'll grow on you.

Glossary of Terms

This glossary is unfiltered but the story is still being posted to a filter while I work out the kinks (heh, no not figuratively, this is quite PG thank you); if you want to read it, holla. I'd always love another set of eyes on it.

Soon I really hope to also have an Audio or Video guide to pronunciation of names and words. I'll need to either look awesome for that or get a better microphone. XD If I looked like any of the main characters I'd say I'd be cosplaying for it.
