Introduction

Recently ashamedbliss announced that she was re-discovering some of her favorite albums. In a fit of memories and the sort of feelings only true music appreciators can understand, she decided to make a series of posts on her LJ honoring these favorite albums of all time. I love this idea and I love Emily, and so I decided it would be peachy to do the same!

Now, I have significantly more years behind me (duh), and a staggering mass of music appreciation in my old brain-mop and heart-pan. Therefore, I've narrowed my picks, over the course of about two weeks of examining my lifelong relationship with music, to fifteen.

I will be presenting them in no particular order, because it's impossible for me to pick favorites among my favorites. I love them each for a different set of reasons, and each is vastly and uniquely important to me. I'm going to try to update once every few days on this, perhaps once a day while I'm off and/or bored.

Along with info about the album and, hopefully, a download link for you to enjoy along with me, I'll be writing a short essay for each entry explaining why it is my favorite and how it has had such an effect on my life. ♥
